Graduated from Western Michigan University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology. 3.4 GPA Became a certified Personal Trainer after studying Nutrition and Strength Training through the Personal Training Institute in Southfield, MI in 2003.
Experience
I was an elementary substitute teacher in the Kalamazoo schools in 2002. I then moved to Oregon and was a site leader at a YMCA in the before and after school programs. I also have 2 years experience substitute teaching in the Metro Detroit area, as well as Arizona, through Substitute Teachers Unlimited. I will be working on getting my teaching certification while I tutor, as I wish to gain as much experience as possible before having my very own classroom. I love children and education. I have started my classes and have taken ESL and classroom management.

Hobbies
I love exercise, nature, and music. I enjoy spending time with my 3 year old daughter and husband. We love to explore parks and nature centers. We are from Michigan but recently moved back from Arizona to spend time with more of our family. We enjoyed hiking and exploring Arizona but missed the four seasons in Michigan. We are looking forward to our first winter in 8 years! I grew up figure skating and now love to run, bike, Zumba, and Yoga. I have a great sense of humor and am very down to earth and good natured. I look forward to educating your son or daughter!
