My instructional background includes part-time instruction in 2000-2003 in the accelerated degree program at Concordia University. Presently, I teach English courses at WCCCD, Baker, Rochester that are focused on Writing Essays, Literary Criticism, Research and communication skills. I have completed an instructor’s course on Blackboard instruction for the college’s online curriculum and I am presently teaching online at WCCCD, Rochester and Baker. I have also designed course curriculums for WCCCD for the content area of education. These experiences are instrumental influencing my approach to classroom instruction along with positive techniques and skills in communicating with children and adults in the classroom. My experiences and background in both the elementary and college level also provides me with the ability to make connections with real-world concepts for the students to advance their skills and techniques in the field of education.
